This “Collage House” in Mumbai Is Made From Recycled Materials...*









Located in Mumbai, India, S+PS Architects’ Collage House, built for a large four-generation family, plays on the contrast between the contemporary and the traditional. The project looks at the idea of recycling to inform its design, with a collage of mismatched old windows and doors from demolished houses in the city used to construct the front-facing facade.

Inside they form the backdrop for the living room, where exposed concrete and polished white marble tie everything together, despite their unlikeness to the refurbished wooden panels...*
